How to Post Pictures

Posting pictures to the message board can be done 2 ways. Either upload it to your homepage if you have one. Note that this does not work for some web page servers. Click on the image there and get the URL to paste to the board under Optional Image URL. OR sign up for a Free Photo Hosting account at Photobucket. We recommend that one. It's free and easy and you can store lots of images there and organize them into albums. As of last check, Epson, Webshots and many other sites are no longer allowing linking to their sites so you may want to start an album on one of the forementioned sites.

Once you have a Photo hosting account and have put your pictures there, you just find the picture you want to post. Just below the image are 4 URL's. Cut and Copy the one called "HTML code". Then go to the Tiel Chat board.

If you are using this method, type your message and just paste the "HTML Code" right where you'd like your image to be in your message.

You can do this for each image you'd like to post in the message. Even writing a message in between describing each image.

Photobucket also has an option to resize your photos. If your digital camera or scanner takes large pictures you'll need to either reduce them in your photo editor or use Photobucket's resize picture option under the Edit button in your photo album. Preferred size is 640 X 480 pixels but slightly larger is fine.

You are ready to send but first do a preview of your post with the fantastic preview button that the board has included. If image doesn't show, you can go back and fix it.

This all may sound hard but once you do it a few times it's real simple. Let me know if this instruction helped you. Feel free to email me with any questions.
