Our
oldest son is retired from the Army. He served in Desert
Storm and spent 20 years in service to our country before
retiring from the Army. He now works odd jobs and enjoys time
with his family. He builds and repairs computers among
other things part time...he is my computer man....I would
not have a computer if not for him. ((((((((hugs))))))))
son. There is not much this man cannot do, he is a jack of
all trades. He has a huge heart and helps a lot of people.

Our next son
is single and has worked several years for the highway
department. He loves hunting and goes quite often. He
loves animals and the outdoors. He survived falling from a
two story window and landing on a cement driveway when he
was a baby, no injuries but a few bruises. We lived in
Germany and they had no screens on the windows, he climbed
up to the bed, into the window and out. I was one grateful
mama and so thankful to God for sparing his life.

Our oldest
daughter has overcome many obstacles and is now a working
wife and mom. She is the mother of our two oldest
grandsons. She works with physically and mentally
challenged children and I might add that she is very good
with them, I am so very proud of her. She always
helped me with the foster babies when she was home and not
in school and she also graduated CNA (Certified Nursing
Assistant) training . Both of these experiences gave her
the training she needed to prepare her for the work that
she does today. She is a real 'go-getter' and always on
the go and doing something to help someone.

Our third son
is married and has three of our grandchildren. He has
worked up to shop supervisor at his job. He struggles each
day to overcome challenges in his life, but he does not
let the challenges stop him from enjoying life and his
family. He is now tutoring a couple of kids in algebra. He
has always been a whiz in math. He loves to read and reads
quickly then can quote the book almost word for word.

Our fourth
son also has challenges in his life that he has to
overcome on a daily basis. He is doing very well though
and works two jobs, a day job and an evening job. You
would never believe how far this guy has come, there are
not words to tell how pleased I am and how proud I am of
him. He has also always been a math whiz and he also has a
photographic memory...amazing what he can see and
remember.

Our second
daughter is another of our children that has many
challenges she must overcome every day. She graduated high
school last year (I was never so thrilled to see anyone
graduate in my life) school was very difficult for her.
She is trying very hard to get her life started. She loves
animals and children and would love to work with either of
them. I am looking forward to the day when her medical
issues and life challenges are more in control and she can
see her dreams fulfilled. She still lives at home with my
husband and myself and works at a fast food
establishment.

Our
youngest daughter has left this life for the next. I still
miss her so much. What a joy she was to share my life with
for eight wonderful years. She would have been 16 years February 2007. If you have not read her
story you can read it by clicking here. Memories
of Krystal.

I am very
proud of all our children and so thankful that we are
close and see them a lot, with the exception of the one
and of course little Krystal. None of them have let the
huge obstacles they have in their life hold them back,
they are going on to make of their lives what they hoped
for.
