I
walked in the room the other night, said to my hubby..."What
you doing?" He said to me..."Watching a movie on the
Wal*mart channel."
He
was actually watching the Hallmark channel. :)

My
daughter came in yesterday and asked me if she could get something
at the store. We trade at a little neighborhood grocery between
times of going to town to buy our large bill of groceries each
month.
I
told her that her dad had gone to the store and I would call him and
see if he was still there and if he was I would ask him to pick up
for her what she wanted.
I
jumped up, ran to the phone and dialed the number for the store. My
friend answered and I asked if my hubby had left yet, she told me
that he had not come yet. I said "He is not there yet, he left
quite awhile ago." She again told me he was not there and asked
if I wanted her to give him a message when he got there. I stopped
and thought a minute and felt so foolish.
I
told her no, that it was okay, he was not coming to the store and
that I knew where he was. She said..."Then he is not coming to
the store?" I told her yes, he was coming to the store but it
would probably be tomorrow and told her I would talk to her later.
My
hubby was up at our son's sitting with the baby while our son went
to the vet to pick up his cat. Why I thought he was at the store is
anyone's guess....just another one of those senior moments.
My
daughter and I drove on up to the store to get what she needed and
when I walked in my friend said..."Did you find him?" I
told her yes, that I remembered that he was at our son's. She told
me I sounded so strange when I called that she thought I had a
crisis and I told her I did. I had a senior moment. We laughed and
laughed.
When
my hubby came home I told him what I had done and when he finished
laughing he told me he could not believe I did that. I told him for
a short while there I thought I had lost him.
